Klover Asia at Tanjong Katong Girls' School

“You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” - Mahatma Gandhi

How does one bring about positive change? What does being an agent of change mean?

Over 20 student leaders from Tanjong Katong Girls' School attended a workshop conducted by Klover Asia to learn the answers to these questions. The students hold various leadership portfolios as prefects, heads of their CCA (Co-Curricular Activity) groups etc., and are the agents responsible for initiating positive change, establishing good practices and being role-models for their peers and juniors within the school.

Over the course of two days, the Secondary 4 girls participated in different thought-provoking activities designed to encourage self-discovery and learning about leadership qualities and behaviour. In the process, they were exposed to a systematic approach to creating positive change. The group of student leaders concluded the workshop with discussions and mini presentations about areas which they would like to work on, with due consideration given to the proposed course(s) of action and its consequences, thereby benefitting their peers and juniors with the future outcomes.
