Klover Asia Returns to Conduct a Cluster Workshop on Effective Feedback

“We all need people who will give us feedback. That’s how we improve.” – Bill Gates

Klover Asia returned to conduct a second workshop for more than 20 teacher leaders of the W3 school cluster on 13 April 2017.

Following up from the first session which focused on mentoring and coaching, the theme for this session was giving and receiving effective feedback, an essential but oft-overlooked topic.

During the workshop, the Lead Teachers (LTs), Senior Teachers (STs), and School Staff Developers (SSDs) were exposed to different models of feedback with the jigsaw learning approach. They also had role-rehearsals and discussions based on authentic cases, which would help to facilitate the transfer and application of learning. Based on the comments received, it is evident that the participants benefitted from and enjoyed themselves during the workshop.

What our participants thought after the workshop:

“The workshop is impactful and interesting, with many real life examples given… Relevant and precise.” – Sock Yee, Senior Teacher

“Lots of practical examples.” – Nur Hana, Senior Teacher

“Real classroom situations & scenario quoted & explained. Lively discussions.” – Hok Beng, Senior Teacher

“I think the personal examples given helped to put things in perspective. One of the more engaging ones I have attended. Enjoyed it and most importantly, benefitted.” – Rena, School Staff Developer
